THE PROVINCIAL INTERVENTION TEAM HAS SUCCESSFULLY NABBED THIRTEEN SUSPECTS IN NABOOMSPRUIT DURING THE OPERATION SHANELA II
POLOKWANE The Provincial Intervention team has successfully arrested thirteen suspects aged between 21 and 46 for various offences during an ongoing operation Shanela II conducted in Naboomspruit, Waterburg district on Tuesday, 13 January 2026.
The suspects were arrested for crimes ranging from contravention of immigration act, dealing in drugs, smoking dagga in public space, drinking liquor in public, and selling liquor without license.
Vehicle check points, stop and searches were were intensified during the high density operation Shanela in an effort to create a safe and secure environment for all citizens.
The suspects have already started appear before Naboomspruit Magistrate’s Court for various offences, others have paid Admission of guilty fines.
