A desperate search is underway for two-year-old Mokgethwa Makgolane, who vanished while playing with older children in Mashite, Ga-Mphahlele, outside Lebowakgomo in Limpopo. The toddler was told to head home as he was too young to join the older kids collecting wild fruit in the nearby mountains, but he never made it.
Despite a week-long search by police, the K9 Unit, and community members, Mokgethwa remains missing. His aunt, Tebogo Makgolane, is pleading for anyone with information to come forward and help bring him home.
Community members are rallying together, searching mountains, surrounding areas, and going door-to-door in the village. Concerns are growing, and offers of help are pouring in as the search efforts continue.
