POLICE LAUNCHED MANHUNT FOR ARMED SUSPECTS OF BUSINESS ROBBERY AT SHAYANDIMA LOCAL BAKERY

POLOKWANE The Police in Thohoyandou ,Vhembe District have launched a masive manhunt for suspects responsible for business robbery at a local bakery in Shayandima village on Wednesday night, 07 January 2026.

According to the report, approximately five suspects entered the bakery premises having firearms and covering their faces with balaclava. They ordered all victims (employees) who were inside the building into one room. During the process, two shots were fired, and some of the victims were assaulted.

The suspects tampered with a safe until they managed to open it and went off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police were alerted about the incident, and the case of business robbery was registered. The unknown suspects are still at large.
