POLICE ACT SWIFTLY AS SESHEGO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SUSPECT IS ARRESTED AFTER VICTIM OPENS A CASE
POLOKWANE: Limpopo Police have confirmed a major development in the domestic violence incident that circulated widely on social media, which occurred on Thursday, 04 December 2025 in Seshego.
After initially not filing a complaint, the 38-year-old male victim has since come forward and officially opened a case with the police. This paved the way for further investigative processes, which established that he had sustained severe burn injuries allegedly inflicted with hot cooking oil.
Following these developments, Seshego police arrested the 28-year-old woman involved in the incident on Monday, 08 December 2025. She has been charged with attempted murder.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court today, Tuesday, 09 December 2025.
