A 26-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR MURDER FOLLOWING FATAL STABBING IN MOLETJIE, GA-RAMONGOANA VILLAGE
POLOKWANE: The Police in Seshego under Capricorn District have arrested a 26-year-old male suspect in connection with a murder that occurred during the early hours of Sunday, 30 November 2025, at Moletjie, Ga-Ramongoana No.1, at the residence of the suspect.
It is alleged that at about 04:00, an altercation ensued between the suspect and the 39-year-old male victim while they were at the suspect’s home in the company of other individuals. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim with a sharp object.
The victim was reportedly rushed to the hospital for medical assistance; however, he succumbed to his injuries while en route. The Police were notified, and a case of murder was immediately opened.
A swift investigation was launched, and the suspect was successfully apprehended on Monday, 01 December 2025.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 03 December 2025, facing a charge of murder.
