By Chilis Suzan Zukwa: It is reported that the suspect was arrested immediately after his arrival at the vehicle checkpoint port of entry, driving a white Toyota hilux GD6 trying to smuggle the vehicle to the nearby country (Botswana). The preliminary report indicates that the vehicle was reported stolen last month (October) at Olivenhoutbosh SAPS in Pretoria.
The suspect was placed under arrest, and he will appear before Lephalale Magistrate’s court soon for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has praised the team members for their alertness and quick response that led to the success .
