MALAMULELE SAPS LAUNCH SEARCH OPERATION FOR RHULANI SYDNEY BALOYI (44)
POLOKWANE: The Police in Malamulele under Vhembe District have launched a search operation following the disappearance of Rhulani Sydney Baloyi (44) from Mavambe Village.
According to the report received, the victim’s wife alleged that Baloyi left home on Saturday, 01 November 2025, to attend a funeral in the same village and never returned home thereafter.
Preliminary investigations revealed that on the same day, the victim was last seen consuming alcohol at a local tavern in Mavambe Village. However, no one knows where he went after leaving the tavern.
A joint search operation was conducted by police, family members, and friends, but the victim has not yet been found. At the time of his disappearance, Baloyi was wearing a black leather jacket, white T-shirt, and grey jeans.
Police have confirmed that the missing person is not a mental health patient.
