POLICE ARRESTED A MALE SUSPECT FOR MURDER AT GA-MOKGOPO VILLAGE
POLOKWANE: The South African Police Service in Sebayeng outside Mankweng has apprehended a 30-year-old male suspect following a murder incident that occurred at Ga-mokgopo village.
On Saturday, 25 October 2025, at around 07:30, the police received a complaint of the victim being injured with stab qoumds at a tarven in Ga-Mokgopo village. They responded swiftly and rushed to the scene and on arrival found a victim already transported to hospital. They proceeded to Mankweng hospital, and unfortunately on the arrival they were informed that the victim passed away on his arrival due to his injuries.
According to the information gathered, the suspect and deceased were engaged in a heated argument, that resulted the victim being stabbed .
The preliminary investigation led the suspect being identified, subsequent to his arrest.
The motive behind the killing is unknown at this stage,The investigation continues.
The suspect will appear before Mankweng Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 27, on charges of Murder.
