BREAKING NEWS: Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has suspended Health Head Lesiba Arnold Malotana with immediate effect.
The move follows a damning SIU interim report that uncovered R2 billion in irregular contracts and fraudulent procurement at Tembisa Provincial Tertiary Hospital, implicating senior officials and syndicates in massive corruption. Lesufi appointed Dr Darion Barclay, currently head of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, as acting Health HOD to ensure stability and continuity.
