BREAKING NEWS: Businessman Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe Granted R400,000 Bail
Controversial businessman Katiso ‘KT’ Molefe has been granted bail after winning his appeal in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg. Molefe’s leave to appeal was initially denied by the Alexandra Magistrate’s Court on August 20, but Judge Brad Wanless ruled in his favor on Friday.
The judge stated that the state’s opposition to the appeal application lacked “real evidence” and didn’t conflict with the Criminal Procedure Act. Despite the serious nature of the alleged offenses, the court found no objective evidence to deny Molefe bail.
