MANHUNT LAUNCHED AFTER HIGH-PROFILE RETAIL SHOP ROBBED OF PROPERTY AND CASH WORTH OVER R700 000 IN POLOKWANE
POLOKWANE: Police in Limpopo have launched a manhunt following a business robbery at a high-profile retail shop in Polokwane city centre on Tuesday, 02 September 2025, at around 17:30.
It is alleged that four to five armed suspects stormed into the store as employees were preparing to close. The suspects forced staff members and two customers to the back of the shop before looting clothing items, shoes, and an undisclosed amount of cash. The stolen property is estimated at more than R700,000.0
The suspects, who reportedly spoke isiZulu, fled the scene in an unknown motor vehicle.
A case of business robbery has been opened at Polokwane SAPS and transferred to the Provincial Tracking Team for further investigation.
