THOHOYANDOU POLICE ARREST A-24-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT FOR MURDER OF HIS 20 YEAR-OLD YOUNGER BROTHER
POLOKWANE The Police in Thohoyandou under Vhembe District have arrested a 24 year old male suspect for the alleged stabbing of a 20-year-old male victim (younger brother) who later succumbed to his injuries at hospital on Sunday, 10 August 2025, around 09:00
The arrest came after the police were summoned to Donald Frazer Hospital to attend the scene. On their arrival at the hospital, the staff pointed out a lifeless human body laying on the bed having a stab wound.
The preliminary investigation revealed the suspect was engaged in a fight with younger brother , leaving the victim with a stab wound(s) on the head. After the alleged fight, the suspect took the victim to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries
The police investigation led to the arrest of a 24-year-old suspect who is the brother to the deceased.
The suspect will appear before Thohoyandou Magistrate court on Monday 11 August 2025 , facing charges of Murder.
