Baltasar Ebang Engonga has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for embezzling over 1 billion CFA francs (approximately $1.5 million USD) in government funds while serving as the Director-General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF).
The court found him guilty of misappropriating public funds, illicit enrichment, and abuse of power.
Mr Engonga hit the air last year with the videos of him sleeping around with over 400 women including people’s wives. Even more interestingly these women he was chasing are all free as he heads to jail.
