WOMAN IN COURT FOR ALLEGED KIDNAPPING OF TWO NEWBORNS FROM DORA NGINZA HOSPITAL

The National Prosecuting Authority confirms that Sinovuyo Rabula (26) appeared in the New Brighton Magistrates’ Court facing two counts of kidnapping after two newborn babies were allegedly taken from Dora Nginza Hospital in Gqeberha. She allegedly entered the hospital under false pretences of abdominal pain, accessed the maternity ward without authorisation, and removed the infants while posing as a new mother.

Both babies recovered the next day, and Rabula was arrested. She is due to appear in court again on 30 May 2025 for a formal bail application.
