MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOLLOWING ROBBERY AT A FUEL STATION IN APEL
POLOKWANE: The Police Detectives in Apel have initiated a comprehensive manhunt in response to a business robbery incident that occurred at a fuel station in Atok, Apel policing area in the early hours of Friday, 08 November 2024.
According to reports, a driver of white Ford Ranger poured a full tank fuel, and thereafter produced a firearm and threatened the patrol attendant. Other males who were occupants in the said vehicle alighted and pointed at other employees with firearms.
They demanded to be directed to the drop in safes, wherein they grinded the safes and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
The police were summoned to the scene and found the employees locked in store room.
A case of business robbery has been opened.
