21-YEAR-OLD MAN SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR 2022 MURDER IN SESHEGO
POLOKWANE: Lethabo Letsoalo, a 21-year-old man, has been sentenced to an effective eight years in prison following his conviction for murder and possession of a dangerous weapon by the Seshego Regional Court on Tuesday, 08 October 2024.
The incident occurred on 12 March 2022 at about 21h00 in Seshego Zone 8, where police found a 22-year-old male victim fatally stabbed. The case was assigned to Warrant Officer Lesiba Frans Mohlabi of Seshego Detectives.
After a thorough investigation, Letsoalo was identified and arrested. He was granted bail and made several court appearances before being convicted and sentenced.
The court imposed an eight-year sentence for murder and an additional four months for possession of a dangerous weapon, with both sentences running concurrently.
