The case against Livhuwani “SABC Livhu” Madadzhe, a South African comedian and social media personality, has been postponed to 13 February 2026. Madadzhe is facing charges of murder, fraud, and other crimes, including faking his mother’s death to claim insurance benefits and renting vehicles without paying.
The postponement comes after Madadzhe’s defence lawyers withdrew from the case, citing procedural issues. The comedian has already pleaded guilty to two fraud charges and is accused of murdering his partner, Lindelani Nengovhela, whose body was found in a pit toilet at their home in 2022
