MANHUNT UNDERWAY AFTER BUSINESS ROBBERY AT A CLOTHING STORE IN POLOKWANE

POLOKWANE: Police in Polokwane have launched a manhunt for four suspects who committed business robbery at a clothing store in Polokwane, on Saturday, 16 August 2025.

According to police reports, at approximately 15:00, the victim and her two colleagues locked themselves inside the store to activate the alarm after knocking off.

After some time, they noticed an unknown African man standing next to the door. An unknown man forced the victim inside the store, and the three males armed with firearms entered the store.

The suspects instructed the victim to open the safe because they were looking for money, and she complied.

They then took the accessories, cellphones, Bluetooth speakers, and snacks before fleeing the scene with a silver Polo hatchback motor vehicle.

The total value of the stolen property is +-R331 500.

The three victims were assaulted and got minor injuries.

The police call upon anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Sergeant Ramehlape Mamabolo on 069 532 3260, crime stop number 08600 10111, or the nearest police station, or share information on the MySAPSApp.

Police investigations are ongoing.
