MOTHER ACCUSED OF KILLING 11-YEAR-OLD SON APPEARS IN COURT
The case against the mother of 11-year-old Jayden Lee Meek has been postponed by the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court to 18 July 2025 for bail information. Tiffany Nicole Meek (31) made her first court appearance after she was charged with Obstructing the Administration of Justice, Crimen Injuria, Attempting to Defeat the Administration of Justice and Murder of her son in Fleurhof.
The deceased was reported missing on 13 May 2025. However, the next morning, his lifeless body was found by a security guard in a passageway. Investigation showed he had returned home from school and was allegedly killed inside the house, with the mother alleged to have attempted to stage the scene to mislead authorities.
The accused remains in custody until her next court appearance. The NPA remains committed to ensuring justice for victims in similar cases and will continue to hold perpetrators accountable for their actions.
