POLICE INTENSIFY MANHUNT FOR SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN THE FATAL SHOOTING OF A 30-YEAR-OLD WOMAN IN MAHLAKWENA VLLAGE, BURGERSFORT
POLOKWANE: The police in Burgersfort are searching for suspects responsible for the fatal shooting of a 30-year-old woman in Mahlakwena village on Monday, 01 July 2025.
Police responded to the scene at about 06:00, Upon arrival, they found the victim’s lifeless body on the road, with a gunshot wound. Her vehicle was parked on the roadside, still idling.
According to preliminary reports, the victim was last seen when she left for work. The incident occurred not far from the deceased’s residence.
The motive behind the ruthless act remains under investigation. Police have since opened a case of murder.
