CONTRACTOR TO APPEAR BEFORE LEBOWAKGOMO MAGISTRATE’S COURT ON THEFT CHARGE
POLOKWANE– A 45-year-old male contractor is expected to appear before the Lebowakgomo Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 12 January 2026, following his arrest on a charge of theft.
The arrest emanates from a case reported at Moletlane SAPS, where a complainant alleged that she paid a substantial amount of money to the contractor for construction services at Moletlane Village, Makiting. It is alleged that after payment was made into the company’s bank account, no services were rendered as agreed, and all communication was allegedly terminated thereafter.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday, 11 January 2026, and will make his first court appearance as the legal process unfolds.
Police investigations are continuing.
