MAN FOUND WITH GUNSHOT WOUNDS NEAR A RIVER IN VUWANI
POLOKWANE –The police in Vuwani under Vhembe District have launched a manhunt for suspects who shot and subsequently killed a man on Saturday night.
Police responded to a report of a 41-year-old man found shot multiple times near the Mabidi Tavha River in the Vuwani policing precinct on Saturday night, 19 October 2024, around 20:00.
Upon arrival, officers learned the victim had already been transported to a local hospital for medical attention. They proceeded to hospital and the man was unfortunately, pronounced dead upon their arrival, having suffered gunshot wounds to the back.
A murder case has been opened, and investigations are underway.
