MANHUNT OF FOUR HOUSE ROBBERY AND STOCK THEFT SUSPECTS IN TSHITALE IS ACTIVATED

POLOKWANE: A manhunt of four male suspects has been activated by the South African Police Service in Tshitale under Vhembe District in relation to a house robbery and stock theft incidents committed on Thursday 05 September 2024 at about 00:30 in Mphuphuledzhi (Skoto) village.

It is alleged that a male victim was asleep at his residence when four unknown male suspects entered his room wearing black balaclavas and in possession of pangas.

The victim was ordered to lay on the floor and tied with a rope on both hands and feet. Afterward, the suspects took his keys and went to the other house in the same yard. They forced entry and took undisclosed furniture.

The suspects retreated to his room and demanded money but did not get it. The male victim was searched and robbed of one cellphone and left . At about 03:00, the victim heard a sound of an unknown motor vehicle leaving the premise and managed to untie himself to seek assistance from a neighbour.

When he returned with a neighbour, the duo discovered that 18 goats valued at R33.300 were missing from the kraal.

The matter was immediately reported at the local police station who opened a case of robbery and stock theft.
