A 19-YEAR-OLD MALE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH MURDER AT GA ZORA SECTION, SEBAYENG POLICING AREA
POLOKWANE: The Police in Sebayeng arrested a 19-year-old male suspect in connection with murder that occured at a tavern in Ga Zora Section at the Sebayeng policing area in the early hours of Saturday, 14 July 2024.
The Police were summoned to the local clinic following an incident in which the suspect aged 19 and the victim aged 30 had a heated confrontation while in a tavern. Allegedly, the suspect produced a sharp object and stabbed the victim.
He was rushed to the local clinic where he unfortunately lost his life upon arrival. He was identified as Frans Ndweza Kwetepane aged 30 from Sebayeng.
A case of murder is registered and the suspect has been arrested. He is scheduled to appear before the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court soon.
The Police investigation is ongoing.
