POLICE INVESTIGATE A CASE OF MURDER AFTER A BURNT BODY OF AN UNKNOWN WOMAN DISCOVERED IN PHALABORWA

POLOKWANE: The Police in Phalaborwa are investigating a case of murder, after a burnt body of an unknown woman was discovered on Saturday, 22 June 2024, at about 17h30 along a gravel road next to a Heavy Industrial Area under Mopani District.

Accorfing to information, Police were summoned to a murder scene and upon arrival, they found a burnt body of a woman lying on the gravel road. Emergency Medical Services personnel were summoned, and on arrival, the victim was certified dead on the scene.

Police opened a case murder and her identity is currently unknown.

Circumstances surrounding the incident are still under Police investigations.
A manhunt for the suspect involved is underway.
