SHEBESHXT ATTEND HIS DAUGHTER FUNERAL STRUGGLING TO BREATHE IN WHEELCHAIR WHERE HE COULDN’T HEAD TO GRAVEYARD
Monateng hitmaker, Lehlohonolo Chauke (Shebeshxt) was unable to go to the cemetery to witness the final send off of his daughter, Onthatile Chuene.
The funeral was held at the artist’s home township of Lebowakgomo outside Polokwane.
S.M News learns that Shebeshxt arrived at his home, where the funeral service was held, in a minibus and was lifted and placed on a wheelchair.
The musician appeared to be struggling to breathe on his own because he was carrying an oxygen cylinder.
Shebeshxt’s daughter, Onthatile Chuene was laid to rest on Saturday, 22 June, at Lebowakgomo cemetery in Zone F. The family spokesperson reports that the recovering Limpopo rapper was wheelchaired to his daughter’s funeral and carried an oxygen cylinder.
The publication adds that he was unable to go to the cemetery to witness the final sendoff of his daughter, Onthatile Chuene.
Shebeshxt arrived at his home in a minibus and was wrapped up in a mini blanket and wore a woolen hat.
Chauke was accompanied by security details, medical staff and was pushed to the marquee to join the mourners.
It is reported the Ambulance hit maker broke down and cried painfully when he saw his daughter’s coffin. Security guards also warned mourners to not take pictures of the rapper.
Onthatile Chuene’s principal, Margaret Lekganyane also paid tribute to Shebeshxt’s nine-year-old daughter who passed away on 8 June.
Lekganyane said chaos ensued at the school when Shebeshxt enrolled his daughter at Northern Academy.
“Teachers couldn’t understand why the learners were peering through the windows and screaming. Because I am not a fan of Shebeshxt’s music, I couldn’t understand what the fuss was all about.”
“After the enrolment process was completed, he told me that he had brought his daughter to our school so that we could give her the best education.”
Lekganyane adds that everytime Shebeshxt came to fetch his daughter, all the kids at the school would gather around his car, and there was a loud noise.
They then called [Shebe] to the office and advised him that next time he comes to fetch his daughter, he must come through unfamiliar entrances to avoid the commotion.
“One thing we have learned from Chauke is that he loved his daughter and wanted the best for her,” concludes Lekganyane.
