POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR MURDER SUSPECTS OF A 79-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AT LEBOWAKGOMO
POLOKWANE: The Police in Lebowakgomo, Capricorn District, have launched manhunt for suspects who attacked and assaulted an elderly woman aged 79, who later died at hospital. The incident occurred at Lebowakgomo Zone R in the early hours of Monday, 17 June 2024.
It is alleged that Police were summoned to the local hospital, at around 07:30, after an elderly woman was brought to the hospital by her neighbor, aftet she was allegedly found lying naked outside her house. She also had head injuries and bruises on her body. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital, where she unfortunately succumbed to injuries while receiving treatment.
Her identity is currently being withheld, pending further investigations. Police registered a case of murder.
