The VhaVenda Kingdom congratulates Phophi Ramathuba on her election as Premier
Royal leaders under the banner of the VhaVenda Kingdom congratulate Phophi Ramathuba on her election as
Premier of the Limpopo Province. Not only does her election into this office of authority signal an
acknowledgement of her capacity to lead but also reflects an appreciation of gender and diversity imperatives in
the Province.
It is our view that these imperatives will become a soundtrack of her administration as she advances the course
of reversing backwardness, under-development and poverty. It should therefore be appreciated that these efforts,
in a rural province such as ours, can only bear fruit when there is a covenant between her office and royal leaders
who are at times undermined by those who do not comprehend the co-existence of royal leadership and modern
democracy. Our interaction with her when she was MEC for Health gave us strong indications that she has deep
appreciation for royal leadership and that she would be equal to any task at a higher level.
We congratulate her and the people of Limpopo for their unity in purpose for a better tomorrow.
We look forward to work closely with her and to support her administration during her term of office. We also
call on our subjects to do same.
