MUSINA POLICE INVESTIGATE A CASE OF ARMED ROBBERY AT THE SUPERMARKET IN MUSINA

POLOKWANE: Musina Detectives are investigating a case of armed robbery committed at one of the supermarkets at Musina in the Vhembe District on Saturday, 08 June 2024 at about 20:00.

According to reports, the victim was seated in his silver-brown Toyota Fortuner at the shop in Musina town. The friend was busy closing the shop when a silver VW polo stopped in front of his vehicle and five males wearing masks emerged from their vehicle armed with firearms.
Two of the suspects approached the passenger side, one in front, pointed at him with a firearm and ordered him to get out of the vehicle. The other two proceeded to the shopkeeper who was locking the shop.

They robbed them of cash, two cellphones, three passports, a driving license, and the motor vehicle key. 
 
They then fled the scene with the motor vehicle.

The matter was reported to the police, and a case of armed robbery was opened.
