POLICE ON A SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS INVOLVED IN THE MURDER OF A 27-YEAR-OLD MAN AT SHONGOANE 2 PHAHLADIRA SECTION
POLOKWANE : Villa Nora Detectives in Waterburg District are investigating a murder case, following the death of a 27-year-old man at Shongoane 2 Phahladira on Wednesday 14 May 2024 at about 08:00.
According to the information, the police received a complaint of a murder incident, that took place at Shongoane 2 Phahladira.
Upon arrival at the scene, the police discovered a lifeless body of an African male laying downwards, with stab wounds to his upper body from a sharp object.
A preliminary investigation indicates that on Sunday 12 May 2024, the victim was assaulted at the nearest tarven and was taken to the nearby hospital for medical attention. He was discharged the same day.
On Tuesday 14 May 2024 the victim was found dead in his room.
The police have opened a murder case, and are urging anyone with information that can assist with the arrest of the suspects to contact Investigating Officer Sergeant Lucky Mafokoane at 082 414 1610, crime stop number 08600 10111, the nearest police station, or share information on MySAPSApp.
