MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOR SUSPECT WHO FATALLY STABBED AN 18-YEAR-OLD MAN IN SESHEGO
POLOKWANE: Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect allegedly involved in the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old man on Sunday, 12 May 2024 in Seshego, extention 126.
Police responded to a complaint of murder at approximately 01:00 and upon arrival, they found the male victim near his home, lying in a pool of blood, having sustained a stab wound on his leg.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, an 18-year-old man, was stabbed with a sharp object by a male suspect who then fled the scene.
Emergency medical personnel certified the victim dead on the scene.
Police have opened a case of murder. The motive for the murder is still subject to police investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the suspect to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation to call the investigating officer, Warrant Officer Manoko Pete, on 066 183 0869 or Crime Stop number 08600 10111 or the nearest Police Station or MySAPSApp.
