SESHEGO POLICE ARREST A 28-YEAR-OLD MAN IN CONNECTION WITH A MURDER AT SENGATANE VILLAGE
POLOKWANE: Reported by Tebogo Molokomme: The Police Detectives in Seshego arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with a murder case that occurred at Sengatane village, on Saturday, 11 May 2024 at around 16:00.
According to reports, the suspect stabbed the victim with a sharp instrument, on his lower body, while he was with his girlfriend along the road at Sengatane village and thereafter fled from the scene. The girlfriend went to the victim’s home and informed them. They rushed the victim to the local clinic, where he lost his life upon arrival.
The Police were summoned to the scene and opened a case of murder to trace and arrest the suspect.
The deceased’s identity is withheld for investigation purposes.
The motive behind the incident is currently unknown but further investigations will determine.
The suspect aged 28, was arrested on Saturday, 11 May 2024 at Sengatane village. He will appear before Seshego Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 13 May 2024 facing a charge of murder.
