NATIONAL POLICE COMMISSIONER TO PAY HOMAGE TO FALLEN POLICE SERGEANT AT VLEIFONTEIN STADIUM, VHEMBE DISTRICT

POLOKWANE: The National Commissioner of the South African Police Service, General Fannie Masemola, accompanied by SAPS senior management will pay homage to the late Detective Sergeant, Mpfariseni Hamilton Nemahadani of SAPS Levubu, who tragically lost his life in the line of duty.

The 44-year-old Detective Sergeant, Nemahadani passed away on Friday, 03rd May 2024, after he was shot while responding to a business robbery incident that occurred in Tshianda village. Together with his crew, they persueded the armed suspects who had already fled the scene with the victim’s vehicle until they intercepted them at Tshakhuma village where the shootout ensued.

The funeral proceedings will include a solemn ceremony to pay tribute to Sergeant Nemahadani’s dedication, bravery and sacrifice in creating a safer and secure environment for all citizens.
