HOUSE ROBBERY SUSPECT WHO HAD BEEN ON THE RUN ARRESTED, FIREARM RECOVERED
POLOKWANE: An Intelligence driven joint operation led to arrest of the second suspect,(24), linked to two cases of house robbery committed last month ( April) in Makuya policing area in Vhembe district.
Following excellent investigation, the suspect was arrested on Tuesday, 07 May 2024 in Muhotoni village. One firearm with ammunition was recovered in Lambani village, believed to be linked to the aforementioned robberies.
The suspect is currently in custody where he has joined his male accomplice who was previously arrested in the same area. He will be facing charges related to the house robberies and possession of illegal firearm and ammunition. Further investigations are underway to determine other accomplices or
related criminal activities.
The suspect will soon appear before the local Magistrate’s Court.
