POLOKWANE POLICE ON MANHUNT OF SUSPECTS RESPONSIBLE FOR ROBBERY WITH FIREARM INCIDENT AT A MALL

POLOKWANE: The South African Police Service in Polokwane have activated a massive manhunt of two unknown male suspects who allegedly committed a robbery with a firearm incident at Savanah Mall on Monday 06 May 2024 at about 11:00.

It is reported that a 48 year-old male victim departed from Limpopo Cash and Carry Supermarket with the objective to deposit a substantial amount of cash at Savanah mall.

Upon his arrival at the entrance of the mall, the victim was confronted by two unknown males in possession of firearms. One of the suspects unexpectedly shot the victim on the right foot and he threw the money bag on the floor.

Another suspect managed to pick it up and the duo ran away. Suddenly, a 48 year-old male victim took out his licensed firearm and fired several shots at the suspects who also fired back while running towards their motor vehicle.

The duo subsequently managed to flee the scene with a substantial amount of cash while driving in a white Hyundai SUV motor vehicle.
