POLICE ORGANISED CRIME MEMBERS ARREST A 27-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT FOR DEALING IN DRUGS AT WESTENBURG
POLOKWANE: The members of Limpopo SAPS Provincial Organised Crime arrested a 27-year-old male suspect for dealing in drugs, on Thursday, 02 May 2024 in Westenburg policing precinct.
According to information, the members received a tip-off about the suspect driving in a Charcoal Ford Figo, and allegedly selling drugs at Bulawayo park in Ladine next a school.
An operation was activated and they accurately followed the information. The said vehicle was spotted motionless and they tactically approached it.
Upon searching the vehicle, they found a black plastic with transparent plastic sachets containing Crystal Meth, weighing 0.040 gram and Kat, weighing 0.050 gram of drugs hidden underneath the driver’s seat.
The drugs are estimated at a street value of +-R 35 000-00 (Thirty five thousand rands) and his motor vehicle was also confiscated.
The suspect was immediately arrested for dealing in drugs. He will appear before Polokwane Magistrate’s Court soon.
The Police investigations are continuing.
