ALLEGED DRUG DEALER NABBED IN POSTMASBURG
NORTHERN CAPE – The Hawks Serious Organised Crime Investigation team assisted by Kuruman K9 arrested a 30 year old suspect earlier today, 27 February 2024. The suspect will be charged with allegations of illegal possession of drugs and dealing in drugs.
Information was received regarding drugs being sold at Haakbos Draai, Postmasburg. The team conducted a search and seizure operation at the said address.
During the search, a black plastic bag containing crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of R38 090 were confiscated. Other items seized includes: one silver scale, one Samsung mobile phone and one blue style phone.
He is expected to appear briefly before Postmasburg Districts Court on Wednesday, 28 February 2024.
