SUSPECT TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR ALLEGED MURDER OF HIS ELDER BROTHER IN SENWABARWANA

POLOKWANE: Senwabarwana police have swiftly arrested a male suspect after he allegedly stabbed and killed his elder brother in the early hours of Sunday, 18 February 2024 at Normandy village.

Preliminary reports indicate that the brothers returned home from the local liquor outlet at about 01h00. A fight broke out between the two and the suspect allegedly took out a knife and stabbed his brother. The 48-year-old victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Police opened a case of murder and the suspect was arrested at his residence.

The suspect, who is between the age of 25 and 30 will appear before Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 20 February 2024.

Police investigations continue.
