MOKWAKWAILA POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR ROBBERY AND MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO PROPERTY SUSPECTS

POLOKWANE: The Police at Mokwakwaila in Mopani District have launched manhunt for a group of armed suspects who robbed a shopkeeper and damaged the property at Kuranta village , on Tuesday, 16 January 2024 afternoon.

According to reports, the victim aged 34 was at the General Dealer store driving a forklift in the yard when a group of armed suspects emerged and immediately pointed him with firearms. They instructed him to the store, while one of them went to a parked vehicle broke the windows and searched it.

Suspects took , an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register, camera recorder, and decorder. Other employees who were also at the store yard were robbed of cellphones, amongst other items.

Police were alerted about the incident and opened cases of business robbery and malicious damage to property.
