GILEAD POLICE ON THE HEELS OF A MAN WHO RAPED A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL
POLOKWANE: Police in Gilead under Waterberg District have launched a manhunt for a suspect who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl from Hlogoyanku village on Tuesday night, 16 January 2024 .
Reportedly, the victim was playing with her friend when a known man to her came and forced her to his home, not far from the victim’s home, and raped her.
Later that day, he released the victim.The victim arrived at home and informed her grandmother. The Police were notified, and a case of rape was opened for further investigation.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for medical examination. Manhunt for the known suspect was immediately activated.
