MALAMULELE POLICE LAUNCH A MANHUNT FOR A SUSPECT FOLLOWING THE KIDNAPPING AND RAPE OF A 15-YEAR-OLD GIRL
POLOKWANE: The Police in Malamulele have launched a manhunt for an unkown male suspect following the kidnapping and rape of a 15-year-old girl.
According to information received, the victim aged 15, was alone at Malamulele CBD on 19 December 2023 at around 17h00, when an unknown man threatened her with firearm and forced her into his vehicle and drove off.
The suspect drove to an unknown area to the victim and raped her inside his vehicle. The following day around 10:30 the suspect dropped her off at taxi rank and drove off. She boarded into a taxi and went home. A case of rape and kidnapping were opened for further investigation.
Anyone with information that can lead to the arrest of the suspect should report the incident at Malamulele Police Station or alternatively call Crime Stop number 0860010111 or the nearest Police Station or MySAPSApp.
The Police investigations are still ongoing.
