DISRUPTIVE OPERATION BETWEEN SAPS AND SANDF NABBED FIVE UNDOCUMENTED FOREIGN NATIONALS IN GRAVELLOTE
POLOKWANE A joint operation between the members of SAPS and SANDF resulted in the apprehension of five undocumented foreign nationals aged between 30 and 43 on Monday, December 18, 2023.
The members of the Mopani illicit mining task team together with the members of the SANDF conducted Operation Vala Umgodi at Moduba mine in the Gravellote policing area outside Phalaborwa, Mopani district.
The suspects were nabbed at the nearby village and charged with contravention of the Immigration Act. They will appear before Namakgale Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 20 December 2023.
The Limpopo Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has applauded the collaborative efforts that resulted in the apprehension of the suspects.
