POLICE HUNT FOR SUSPECT FOR ALLEGEDLY RAPING A 30-YEAR-OLD WOMAN AT WITPOORT IN LETLORA VILLAGE
POLOKWANE: Members of Lephalale FCS are investigating an alleged case of rape of a 30 year old woman by her ex boyfriend at Witpooort in Letlora village on Sunday 26 November 2023 at around 21:30.
According to reports, the victim was coming from a tavern at Letlora village, when she met her ex-boyfriend. He requested her to go with him to his home. She refused and the ex-boyfriend assaulted her. He dragged the victim to his residence, raped her and he only released her on Monday night, 27 November 2023.
In the afternoon, on Thursday, 30 November 2023, the victim reported the rape case to the Police. Manhunt to arrest the suspect was activated. The rape case was subsequently transferred to Lephalale Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit for further investigation.
