HIGH COURT ORDERS SEPARATION OF TRIAL IN R1.8 BILLION BOSASA CORRUPTION MATTER

The High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Division, Pretoria has ordered the separation of trial in the R1.8bn BOSASA and Department of Correctional Services (DCS) fraud and corruption matter.

The defence had requested that the trial not be separated. The matter will return to court on 24 January 2024 at 9am at court room 6D.

Agrizzi attended court virtually, while the other accused were present in court. The accused in the matter are former Commissioner of Correctional Services, Linda Mti, former DCS Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Patrick Gillingham and former BOSASA CFO, Andries Van Tonder.
