NEBO POLICE APPREHEND LIVESTOCK THIEF FOUND IN POSSESSION OF SIX SUSPECTED STOLEN GOATS AND A PLASMA TV
POLOKWANE:The Police in Nebo have through community engagement apprehended a 34-year-old male suspect for theft of livestock and possession of suspected stolen goods at Glencowie village in Sekhukhune District on Wednesday, 15 November 2023
It is reported that the Police received information from members of the community about a male person being suspected of stealing livestock in Glencowie village. Upon arrival of the Police at the scene, they discovered six goats under control of a man who failed to provide proper documentations for ownership of the livestock and through searches conducted within the homestead of the suspect, one Plasma Television set was discovered whereby the suspect failed to account for the proof of purchase.
It is reported that four of the six goats were positively identified by the lawful owner based on the identity brand mark endorsed on their bodies. The Police confiscated two remained goats and the plasma TV set for further investigations.
The suspect is expected to appear before Nebo Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 17 November 2023
