Motsepe Foundation championship tail enders Pretoria Callies FC parted ways with head coach Kwanele Kopo. Kopo was fired on Wednesday following a string of poor results.

Several club owners in the PSL are known to be impatience and trigger-happy when the desired results are not coming their way.

Panic buttons have been pressed already, as a handful of coaches have been fired already in the early stages of the 2023/24 season.

Venda FC recently parted ways with Joel Masutha, while Delano Hendricks also left his head coaching position at NB La Masia. Ashwin Sutton was the third mentor to depart at a club as he left Casric Stars.

The latest coach to part ways with a club is Kwanele Kopo of Pretoria Callies. Kopo has stepped down after a below-par start to the season.

After 10 games, Callies are yet to pick a win in the new season as they are rooted at the basement of the second-tier league.

The first encounter of the Curling knockout Cup quarterfinal will be played this evening at Peter Mokaba stadium in polokwane. Polokwane City FC will host Stellenbosch FC. Other three matches of the quarterfinals will be played on Saturday. Richards Bay FC will host Orlando Pirates while AmaZulu will play against Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal derby . In the other match Sekhukhune will host TS Galaxy at Peter Mokaba stadium .
