SILOAM POLICE INVESTIGATE MURDER AFTER MAN’S BODY FOUND NEAR LOCAL TAVERN
POLOKWANE The Police at Siloam in Vhembe District are Investigating a case of murder after the body of . a man was found next to a local tavern in Mandala village in the early hours of Sunday 08 October 2023 at about 04h00.
Police responded to the scene after they were alerted by the community. Upon arrival, they found a man’s body lying on the street with an open wound on his head.He was declared deceased on the scene by the paramedics and the motive for the attack is not yet known.
The deceased aged 28, was later identified by the next of kin and his identity will be released at a later stage.
The Provincial Commissioner of police in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has condemned the incident and appeals to the community to come forward with any information that can lead to the apprehension of the suspect(s).
