POLICE REQUEST PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE MISSING GIRL

LEBOWAKGOMO: Police in Lebowakgomo have launched a search operation for a missing 15-year-old girl Kamogelo Monyela from Mothiba-Ngwanamago village in Ga-Maja.

On Friday, 05 May 2023 at around 11:00, she left home wearing her school uniform and her mother assumed that she was going to school at Radikgomo Secondary, but she never returned home.

Her mother visited the victim’s friend who explained that the victim came to her and took off her school uniform and dressed in a pink and white jacket with a black Jean trouser, and a blue & white Puma tekkie. Thereafter she took a taxi to Polokwane and that was when she was last seen.

Preliminary investigations reveal that, she requested R300 from other relatives through her Facebook account claiming that she wants go back home yet she never returned and her cellphone is currently on voicemail.

Searches were conducted from relatives and places she frequently visited but there was no success.
