A 33-YEAR-OLD MURDER ACCUSED SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONEMENT

POLOKWANE: The Acting Provincial Commissioner of the Police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers warmly welcome the life imprisonment sentence meted out by Tzaneen magistrate court to a 33-year-old male for stabbing a 27-year-old male patron at a tavern in Kubjana village in May 2017.

It was established by the Court that on 7 May 2017, Barry Senyolo had an argument with one of the patrons at a tavern in Kubjana village and fatally stabbed Karabo Sewape with a sharp object.

A case docket of murder was subsequently opened and assigned to the detective Warrant Officer Masilo Selowa, who commenced with investigations which led to the arrest of Barry Senyolo a few days later.

He was charged with murder and ultimately found quilty by the Tzaneen Magistrate court and sentenced to life imprisonment on Monday, 7 May 2023.
