FOUR SUSPECTS WHO HAD BEEN TERRORISING THE FARMING COMMUNITY IS NABBED, LINKED WITH OVER 20 CASES INCLUDING HOUSEBREAKING AND THEFT.

POLOKWANE:The Acting Provincial Commissioner of police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers commended the remarkable work by SAPS members, after the arrest of four suspects aged between 20 and 34, who were subsequently linked to about 20 cases of housebreaking and theft that occured at Tweefontien, Soordoring farms in the Westerburg policing area
The suspects were apprehended , on Thursday 04 May 2023.

Farming Community had been experiencing incidents of breaking in and theft where suspects appeared to have been elusive

The reports of the alleged suspects who had been engaged in Incidents of breaking within farming communities, in and around Polokwane along N1 to Makhado became a matter of serious concern to the Farming Community.

The team consisting of, Crime Intelligence, Tracking unit, Murder and Robbery was established with a view to investigate these cases and their hard work paid off when the teams subsequently arrested the four suspects.

The following were recovered during the arrest , 4 x amplifiers, 2x laptops, 5 x generators,3 speakers, 2 x grass cutters, 3 x Angle grinders, 2 x jigsaw, 1 x plasma tv, 1x bank card 1x blanket
and Cables.

The suspects will soon appear before Polokwane Magistrate Court soon facing charges of :
Possession of suspected stolen goods, Housebreaking, Theft, Illegal immigrants and amongst other cases.

Police investigations still underway.
